The name of the disorder that we are researching is called Tay Sachs Disease.
It is a rare disease that is inherited and destroys the nerve cells(spinal cord, brain). Fatty substances are produced too much causing the buildup to destroys nerve cells. The most common type is found in infants 3-6 months old. Other forms are very rare in adolescence, adulthood, and childhood.
